NOSF has recently gone through some major changes. The last
six months have been rather chaotic due to some internal disputes. To cope with
these problems we have in a democratic way elected a new board of directors
(with good help from NOSF’s CF, Geriljajoe). They’ve done a lot of analyzing,
and made changes that they think is better for NOSF as a community.
We have shorted down on the teams (now three instead of four).
We’ve been recruiting since January, now one fifth of us are new players. Last
but not least we have now found a unison path that all of our members can stand
for.
With a new start, and new members we’ve entered two of our
teams in “Humle Cup 6” (http://klanhumle.dk/). Competing teams are: the 5MC
team, and the Chaos team. Both teams have regular practice and match days to
prepare themselves for the challenges that lay ahead. Our expectations are high,
and we hope they’ll reach the finals.
We wish all NOSF members the best of luck in future matches.
For the rest of you we hope that NOSF will continue to be the community people
find interesting enough to join. Please follow us in the cup, more information
will be published in the nearest future.
Best Regards
::NOSF::

New NOSF 20 slots public server |
|
Saturday, 23 January 2010 21:21 |
|
We are proud to announce our new public Counter-Strike: Source server. After the annual NOSF meeting, we decided that 20 slots is a better player count for a public. This resulted in the purchase of a new public server from www.game-hosting.com, and named it NOSF Public #1 (yes, that indicates more NOSF servers, and we might get more servers later on if we grow). You can join in on all the fun at connect 194.237.243.110:26015. If you like to see our kick-ass stats, check it out at http://nosf.hlstatsx.com. Please respect our in-game rules, located on the top left of the page; section"Public Server Rules".

Our opponents this time was the main team from the Humle clan - Humle 1. Starting of as T on de_train things looked pretty good in the beginning, but unfortunately we lost 7 to 8. Playing as CT things started of pretty well, but it seemed that Humle1 was to strong at the finish of the first map loosing 14 to 16.
Second map was de_cbble starting of as CT and some very nice rounds where delivered, and NOSF took the CT round with 11 to 4. Excellent playing by our team. Last playing as T we needed 5 points for a tie, or 6 points for the win. After watching the scoreboard NOSF lost the T round with 7 to 8.
Total score: 32 - 28 to NOSF |

We got an invite to Humle Cup on tuesday becuase one team had dropped out from the cup. We took their place, starting off with minus points, due to that the clan already had played and lost one match. First match was set up against Biffa - a Danish clan. |
